The breed corsican was derived from the cross breeding of Hawaiian Black and
Barbado or Mouflon and Barbado. These cross breeds are more adaptive to inclemet
weather and usually obtain the best qualities from both donors. The Corsican can
range from the lightest of browns and greys to the darkest of roan colors, sporting
horns that are as varied as their coloring. Many beautiful color combinations and
horn selections are the result of this crossing genetics.
